Our family has been working in food for generations, so we know how important it is to source only the best ingredients. That commitment is reflected in our own fields back in Italy, where we plant and harvest our own vegetables.
Our fields are dedicated to cultivating and growing only the highest quality product, using the best possible practices. For all of our additional items, we heavily vet and research our partners to make certain they are not only ethically and sustainably sourcing their products, but are also great partners who provide transparency in their cultivating and farming processes.
Tattooed Chef arose out of founder, Sarah Galletti's experiences of different food scenes and cultures while abroad.
When she returned home from her travels, she fused her culinary skills, Italian family roots and new found experiences together and thus, the Tattooed Chef was created.

Fresh to frozen, FAST
Just as ingredients are important to us, so are the ways we handle them. Frozen foods are picked at the height of their season and frozen fast to maintain their richness in nutrients and flavor.
We produce all of our foods in our family owned facilities both in Prossedi, Italy and California (LA). We take pride in having exceptional facilities and have sought out the best, cleanest and safest food around. Our facilities hold USDA Organic, Gluten Free, MSC, BRC Grade A and HACCP certifications. We are proud of our foods, our ingredients and the way we run the production of our foods.
